Central Highlands Regional Council is focused on continuous improvement and investing in its people. As a result, we are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Administration Assistant to support our communities team.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, results driven and have an enthusiastic approach to customer service. You will also have exceptional attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to be adaptable to accommodate continuous changing priorities. Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills will see you succeed in assisting the team with day-to-day tasks and specific projects.

You will provide high level administration support to the Communities team by:

  • Completing accounts payable functions including raising purchase orders, receipting goods, processing invoices and credit card reconciliation 
  • Assisting with the preparation and processing of various licences and permits 
  • Effective document management and record keeping 
  • End to end organisation of meetings, events and travel 
  • Assisting with calendar and email management for various Managers 
  • Providing administration support to a diverse management team 

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • Minimum of Queensland C Class Provisional Licence
  • A high degree of competency utilising Microsoft Office suit and other computer programs
