How would you like to utilise your clinical knowledge working a Monday to Friday / 9 day fortnight roster to suit your lifestyle? 

The Opportunity

Reporting through to the Manager People and Safety, you will collaborate on the effective management of Return to work processes including positive interactions and liaison with injured workers. With a manageable case load, you will work collaboratively and take a hands-on approach to working with injured workers, their supervisors, medical providers and other internal stakeholders to achieve a positive return to work outcome.

Additionally, you will support council’s employees by developing and promoting wellbeing initiatives, and proactive health monitoring services.

Qualifications in nursing or allied health (or similar) are welcomed, with a requirement for experience in providing rehabilitation and return to work support . You will be self-motivated who genuinely cares about their impact on others. This role requires you to innovate and achieve results in often complex situations.

The Region

The Central Highlands Region boasts a thriving mining and agricultural sector, with Emerald serving as the key service centre for both the region and the broader Central West. Based in Emerald, you will be located in proximity to all the region has to offer including hiking in Carnarvon Gorge, swimming in the rainbow waters of the Blackdown Tablelands, fishing at Lake Maraboon and fossicking in the Gemfields.
