City of Newcastle (CN) currently has three exciting Field Supervisor vacancies supporting our Civil Construction & Maintenance team of 180+ professionals, delivering CN’s Capital Works Program, benefitting the greater Newcastle community. 

As a Field Supervisor you’ll draw on your proven experience in a similar role to ensure the efficient and effective construction and/or maintenance of civil infrastructure and municipal works, such as road pavement construction and concrete, asphalt, and drainage works.

Delivering jobs both within budget and on time, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of civil construction or civil maintenance jobs, with key responsibilities including mentoring and training crew members, as well as organising required day labour, plant and material. Taking a ‘hands on’ approach, you’ll carry out the daily tasks with the team. You’ll act as a safety leader and will effectively demonstrate CN’s values or Cooperation, Respect, Excellence, and Wellbeing (CREW).
