City of Newcastle (CN) is currently seeking a proficient CRM Ticketing Specialist to join the team at Newcastle's iconic Civic Theatre. You will be joining a team passionate about Newcastle, culture and the venues they look after, all with the view of benefitting the greater Newcastle community.
Following the implementation of our Ticketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, enta, Civic Theatre is committed to using the system across all departments to manage all stakeholder relationships, enhance audience engagement, increase revenue, sell tickets and extend organisational reach. As our CRM Ticketing Specialist, you'll work with the organisation to increase levels of proficiency and create highly skilled users, and is responsible for managing, maintaining and optimising our CRM system.
Key responsibilities in this role include developing a CRM strategy for the Civic Theatre, creating customised reports and providing recommendations to support decision making and measure the impact of marketing campaigns and digital activity.

The essentials you’ll need:
- Considerable experience and knowledge in CRM management as well as extensive ticketing experience.
- Skills to offer insights that leverage a ticketing systems capacity, especially the integration of marketing functions and analysis / evaluation of programs.
- Good working knowledge of enta or a equivalent ticketing system.
- Demonstrated capability to extrapolate and analyse data as well as high level skills in reporting and data analysis to feed into and influence business processes.
- Experience in live performance market segmentation and implementation of marketing and sales strategies using customer data.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong organisational skills.
- Understanding of all or some of the practice areas of live music, theatre, dance, spoken word performance and public programming.
- Enthusiasm and passion for the theatre and the ability to influence others and promote ideas.
- Financial skills in budget control and understanding of and experience in contracting.
Other valuable skills you have:
- Tertiary Qualification in Marketing (or another relevant discipline)
- Experience with bookings / resource management enterprise management software such as for large venues.
- Understanding of marketing principles and marketing communications.
- Experience in digital marketing strategy and/or delivery.
- Practical experience in event management or equivalent.
