City of Newcastle's (CN) Transport & Compliance team are on a journey of growth and evolution, and we have a 6-month secondment opportunity for you to be part of it.
As the Senior Transport Planner- Cycling, you will have the opportunity to guide implementation of projects and initiatives to transform Newcastle into a cycle-friendly city. Your technical expertise, project management and exceptional stakeholder engagement capability will see you as the 'go to' person for cycling at CN. You will be involved in diverse range of infrastructure projects, from feasibility assessment through to construction and monitoring; non-infrastructure supporting activities, working groups and advocacy.
This is a chance to be involved in developing, influencing, and implementing policy, strategy and projects that will change how we get around in Newcastle. The role will work closely within the growing Transport Strategy and Planning section to continue develop the implementation of transport infrastructure across Newcastle.
