City of Newcastle currently has an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Field Supervisor to join our Civil Construction and Maintenance team in a Fixed Term full-time role until September 2024.
With up to 5 direct reports in your work crew, you'll draw on your proven leadership experience in a similar role to supervise the day to day running of maintenance and construction projects, including mentoring and training of crew members and organisation of required day labour, plant, and material.
Taking a 'hands on' approach, you will carry out daily tasks with the team ensuring the efficient and safe construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure and other municipal works, including but not limited to road pavement construction, concrete works, asphalt works, drainage works, and line marking within budget and nominated timeframes.
