City of Newcastle (CN) is looking for an experienced Development Officer (Engineering) to provide professional development engineering advice to external and internal customers, along with processing a range of development engineering applications including engineering referrals, applications for flood certificates, subdivision works and public infrastructure. You will be exposed to a broad range of developments ranging from inner city projects through to large scale subdivisions.

Your experience working in similar roles will see you hit the ground running, enabling you to apply and satisfy sound environmental planning principles and meet all relevant legislative requirements.

Your professionalism will promote CN’s reputation as a competent, efficient, and courteous service provider, consistently delivering high-quality development outcomes while maintaining a strong customer service focus.
