City of Newcastle (CN) has an opportunity for an energetic and passionate Ranger to join our Planning, Transport and Regulation team.

As the Ranger for City of Newcastle you will deliver appropriate outcomes by providing animal management services, including education of the community and the enforcement of regulations in line with the Companion Animals Act 1998; Public Spaces (Unattended Property) Act 2021; Local Government Act 1993 and the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997.

You will also carry out a broad range of compliance activities, including patrols, inspections, investigations, and education, to protect public safety, the environment and public amenity.
