City of Newcastle (CN) is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Field Supervisor to join our Civil Construction and Maintenance team in a permanent full-time role.
You'll draw on your proven leadership experience in a similar role to supervise the day to day running of civil construction projects, including mentoring and training of crew members and organisation of required day labour, plant and material. More specifically, you will plan, organise and supervise CN staff, labour hire employees and external contractors to ensure the required quality of workmanship and productivity is attained.
Taking a 'hands on' approach, you will carry out daily tasks with the team ensuring the efficient and safe construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure and other municipal works, including but not limited to road pavement construction, concrete works, asphalt works, drainage works, and line marking within budget and nominated timeframes.
