Licensed Plumber Tradesperson

• Permanent, full-time role – 38 hours per week.

City of Newcastle (CN) is currently seeking a Licensed Plumber Tradesperson to join our Assets & Facilities team. Reporting to the Building Trade Services Coordinator, the successful candidate will provide the licensed plumbing component of the comprehensive service/s offered by our Building Trades Services team to CN’s built assets.

Drawing from previous similar experience, you will manage the delivery of building construction and maintenance projects including planning, estimating, procurement of labour, plant and material resources. You will also supervise subcontractors, apprentices and volunteers, while always being conscious of safe practices in performing work and understanding the position’s WHS responsibilities and accountabilities.
