City of Newcastle's Waste Services is currently looking for multiple highly experienced MVD Side Loaders to join the Waste and Commercial Collections team.

The successful MVD Side Loader Operators will be the face of our council. In this role you will deliver a high level of customer service while delivering services to the far corners of our beautiful Newcastle LGA.

You will work as part of a team and will be responsible for operating dual control side loading waste collection vehicles and rear load collection vehicles.

As the MVD Side Loader Operator you will have the opportunity to provide supervision, guidance, and support to any other team members working on or with the collection vehicle.

Prioritising work-life balance, this position will see you working 38 hours per week across a roster with penalty rates payable on weekend work and Public Holidays. Overtime paid as applicable.

Remuneration: $68,805.08 + 11.5% Superannuation per annum for a 38-hour week, with an additional Waste Collection Allowance $36.72 per shift. Voluntary overtime is frequently available for this position.
