City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Library Customer Service Officer to join our Museums Archive Library and Learning (MALL) Service Unit in this permanent, part time opportunity working 18 hours per week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Our Library Customer Service Officer provides an exceptional service experience as the first point of contact for members and visitors, delivering quality interactions and professional advice across a variety of channels whilst always projecting a positive image of City of Newcastle with a welcoming manner.

You will act and undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with being a Shift Supervisor, for example opening up, locking up, cash management, library circulatory collection management and retailing plus supervision and direction of team members on shift.
