Climate Change and Sustainability Undergraduate

Are you currently studying in Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or equivalent, and in your penultimate or final year of study

• 3-4 year Fixed-term contract, 35 Hours per week

City of Newcastle has an exciting opportunity for a undergraduate who is looking to pursue a career in Climate Change and Sustainability to you join the Climate Change and Sustainability team within the Environment and Sustainability Service Unit.

As the Climate Change and Sustainability Undergraduate you will have the opportunity to assist with the development and delivery of programs, projects and initiatives that progress CN and the Newcastle community's transition to net zero emissions in line with our Newcastle Environment Strategy.

These projects deliver key benefits to the organisation and drives continuous improved community and sustainability outcomes.

This role will see you work across economic, social, environmental and technical aspects, supported through specialist input, collaboration, and internal and external stakeholder engagement.
