City of Newcastle (CN) is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand to join our Road Maintenance team.

In this role, you'll assist the Field Supervisor and act as the Supervisor on site in their absence to oversee the day to day running of civil construction jobs. This includes mentoring and training crew members and organising the required labour, plant and material for jobs. Taking a ‘hands on’ approach – you will carry out the daily tasks with the team. You will act as a safety leader and effectively demonstrate City of Newcastle’s (CN) CREW values.

Remuneration: $68,805.08 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 11.5% Superannuation per annum for a 38-hour week
