City of Newcastle (CN) currently has an opportunity for an experienced and innovative Economic Development Specialist to join our team, assisting in the delivery of programs and projects that address identified business needs and opportunities outlined in relevant CN strategies and plans.
In this role, you will drive economic growth and innovation by developing, facilitating, and managing strategic partnerships that support local business, industry and community outcomes. You will engage with stakeholders to identify and develop opportunities, deliver initiatives, and promote programs that strengthen the economic health of the Local Government Area (LGA). Your work will directly contribute to creating a more vibrant, prosperous and liveable city for all.

Remuneration: $115,182.69 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week
