The Executive Manager, Civic Theatre is responsible for improving the operating and business model specific to Civic Theatre, The Playhouse and in Newcastle, promoting culture and community facilities by enhancing a positive customer experience.

This position oversees a range of services to the community and visitors including commercial venue hire and management services, live performance and cultural programming, technical front of house services, ticket sales, and will build strong working relationships within the Creative and Community Services directorate.

This position forms part of the Leadership Team that establishes the City of Newcastle's culture and values and ensures all operations reflect these values. We need strong commitment to and advocacy for our Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Strategy.

Remuneration: $198,688.60 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week
