We are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from employees who would like to act in the higher duties position of Library Service Delivery Coordinator.

Each opportunity that may arise will be for a minimum of 2 weeks.

About the Process:

  1. MALL employees who are interested in this opportunity, need to complete the application (below) and submit a current resume.
  2. A merit-based assessment will be conducted by the panel, evaluating each applicant’s written responses and resume against the selection criteria.
  3. An eligibility list will be created from this assessment and held by MALL management for the period of October 2025 to June 2026.
  4. As opportunities arise, the eligibility list will be consulted to identify the most suitable candidate to undertake the higher-grade duties of Library Service Delivery Coordinator, based on merit and alignment with the role requirements. If multiple opportunities arise, where possible, these opportunities will be shared based on the eligibility list and staff availability.
  5. Successful applicants will be provided with training and support to undertake a Higher Duties opportunity.

About the Position:

The Library Service Delivery Coordinator works as part of a team to lead front facing library customer service staff and library services across 10 locations. In this role you will develop and support staff to provide an exceptional level of customer service to the community and drive the continual improvement of our spaces, services and resources. Facilitating the efficient running of library branches, this role combines a high level of organisation and staff management with the opportunity to develop innovative and community responsive services.

Remuneration: $4,280.73 per fortnight + 12% Superannuation per fortnight for a 35-hour week. (Salary Point 15 Step 1 – Developing)
