The Civic Events and Communications Officer is responsible for planning and delivering a diverse range of civic and official events that reflect the values and priorities of the City of Newcastle. It involves working closely with internal teams, volunteers, and community stakeholders to ensure events are inclusive, well-managed, and aligned with strategic objectives. The position also supports initiatives that enhance the City's profile and foster strong relationships across government, business, and the community.

Remuneration:  $95,192.44 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week
