As a member of our team, you won't just work for the city; you’ll co-create it.
Here, your ideas and efforts directly shape the places where you and your community live, work, and play.
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Certification and Regulatory Reform Manager to lead a strategic project that will review and reshape how certification and regulatory functions are delivered across Newcastle in response to proposed legislative changes. This high impact role will analyse and implement reform across building, fire safety, and swimming pool certification, ensuring our practices are both legislatively compliant and aligned with community expectations. You’ll lead the redesign of certification frameworks, develop risk-based regulatory models, and explore commercialisation opportunities, as well as provide expert advice on policy and legislative change.
With strong expertise in legislative analysis and strategic planning, you’ll play a key role in advancing CN’s broader certification and regulatory goals. By working closely with stakeholders, you’ll champion and deliver services that are compliant, community focused, and future ready. This is a unique opportunity to lead meaningful change and shape the future of certification in Newcastle.
Through your work, you’ll have a behind the scenes pass to Newcastle's evolution as you shape our future as a liveable, inclusive city.
