We’re looking for a skilled and strategic communicator with experience in infrastructure delivery to support major City of Newcastle projects funded by a landmark grant. This role will lead project communications and engagement strategies aligned with Newcastle 2040, helping keep the community informed, involved, and connected to CN’s vision.
You’ll work on projects that shape how people live, work, and play in Newcastle. Experience in communicating local government infrastructure projects and knowledge of the IAP2 framework will be highly valued.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships across CN, with project partners, and the community. You’ll provide strategic advice and create engaging content across multiple channels to ensure messages reach the right audiences.
In this fast-paced, high-profile role, your proactive mindset, time management, and relationship-building skills will be key. Remuneration: $123,663.63 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week
