A newly created Fixed-Term contract opportunity exists for a Property Development Manager to join CN’s Finance Property & Performance Service Unit until December 2027.

We’re seeking a visionary leader to take on the role of Property Development Manager, a pivotal position that will shape the future of our urban landscape.

In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of Newcastle’s most significant property development initiatives. You will lead a dynamic team of development and project management professionals, driving the delivery of high-profile strategic projects that transform precincts and unlock land potential. Your work will involve managing complex development partnerships with private and not-for-profit sectors, ensuring every initiative aligns with the City’s long-term vision and strategic objectives.

From early strategic planning through to delivery and handover, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent projects with precision and operational excellence. A key focus will be establishing robust governance frameworks and cultivating strong stakeholder relationships to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with both strategic and operational goals.
