We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Blackbutt Reserve Coordinator to lead the day to day operations of Newcastle’s premier wildlife and nature reserve. This role is responsible for managing a dedicated team, ensuring exceptional standards in animal care, park maintenance, and visitor experience, while driving the development of engaging educational programs that connect our community with conservation. You’ll oversee staff training and performance, maintain compliance with DPI and industry requirements, and foster strong partnerships with zoos, vets, and community groups. With a focus on safety, team culture, and continuous improvement, you’ll play a key role in positioning Blackbutt Reserve as a leading destination for education and conservation.

Remuneration:  $95,192.44 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week
