EOI – Ticketing Team Leader (Only Internal Civic Theatre Employees)

We are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from employees who would like to act in the higher duties position of a casual Ticketing Team Leader position.

As this is a casual role, the opportunity will be offered based on operational requirements and rostered accordingly.

For the successful candidate(s), this will be an excellent opportunity to:

  • Grow leadership skills and expand on existing ticketing experience.
  • Gain exposure to event operations, including delivering effective solutions for stakeholders, managing event builds, and coordinating ticketing requirements for Civic Theatre events.
  • Contribute to the strategic and operational success of live productions and events at Civic Theatre
  • Build confidence in decision-making, operational skills, and stakeholder engagement

About the Process:

  1. Civic Theatre employees who are interested in this opportunity, need to complete the application (below) and submit a current resume.
  2. A merit-based assessment will be conducted by the panel, evaluating each applicant’s written responses and resume against the selection criteria.
  3. An eligibility list will be created from this assessment and held by Civic Theatre management for the period of November 2025 to June 2026.
  4. As opportunities arise, the eligibility list will be consulted to identify the most suitable candidate to undertake the higher-grade duties of Ticketing Team Leader, based on merit and alignment with the role requirements. If multiple opportunities arise, where possible, these opportunities will be shared based on the eligibility list and staff availability.
  5. Successful applicants will be provided with training and support to undertake a Higher Duties opportunity.

About the Position:

This casual position works collaboratively within the ticketing team to deliver a first-class experience for all visitors to the Civic Theatre. The role primarily supports ticketing operations and administration, ensuring a customer-focused and professional service at every stage of the ticketing process. In addition, the position assists the Ticketing Services Coordinator in delivering effective solutions for stakeholders, managing event builds, and coordinating ticketing requirements for events held at Civic Theatre.

Remuneration: Casual hourly rate of $50.24 (inclusive of casual loading) + 12% Superannuation. (Salary Point 7 Step 1 – Developing, in line with CN’s Salary System).
