An exciting opportunity currently exists for a highly organised and customer-focused Event and Customer Experience Specialist to join our City Venues team. Here, your ideas and efforts directly shape the places where you and your community live, work, and play.
As the primary point of contact for assigned clients, you’ll manage events from time of booking through to on-site delivery and event close, translating client objectives into clear event plans and communicating requirements effectively across venue teams and service partners. You will provide expert advice on event concepts, coordinate operational and technical requirements, and liaise with service partners to ensure every detail aligns with client needs and venue capabilities. Your ability to build strong professional relationships will be essential in supporting smooth planning and outstanding customer experiences.
During events, you’ll be the on-site point of contact for clients, supporting delivery through coordination, communication and timely resolutions of issues to ensure a positive and seamless event experience. You’ll also participate in and facilitate event briefings and toolbox talks to ensure all teams are aligned and well-prepared. With a strong focus on financial accountability, you’ll manage quotes, contracts, invoicing, and event reconciliation while identifying opportunities to enhance revenue and elevate the client experience.

Remuneration: $85,470.45 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week
