City of Newcastle is looking for its next Senior Project Planner to manage significant infrastructure, civil, building, or environmental projects from initiation to planning and design within our Precinct & Place Planning team.

The Senior Project Planner is responsible for coordinating the planning and design of capital works and public domain projects that enhance existing assets and deliver new infrastructure across the LGA. The role has a strong focus on leadership, communication, and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Remuneration: $123,663.63 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week
