An opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated WHS Injury Management Officer to join our Safety and Wellbeing team on a fixed-term contract until 30 April 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting our people through every stage of their recovery journey. Working within a self-insured environment, you will manage a diverse portfolio of workers compensation claims and partner closely with injured employees, leaders, medical practitioners and service providers to achieve sustainable return to work outcomes. Your expertise will help ensure employees receive the support, care and guidance they need while navigating complex workers compensation matters.

As a member of our team, you won't just work for the city; you’ll co-create it. You will have the opportunity to influence positive change by helping shape and improve workers compensation processes, contributing to a strong safety culture and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across CN.

We are seeking a collaborative and solutions-focused person with extensive experience in workers compensation claims management, excellent communication and negotiation skills with a passion for helping people achieve the best possible recovery outcomes.

Remuneration:  $119,790.13 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week
