Café & Bar Operations Supervisor

City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking an experienced and motivated Café & Bar Operations Supervisor to join our City Venues team in City Hall and Civic Theatre.
Working 21.5 hours per week across Tuesday to Thursday, this is a fixed term opportunity until January 2027.

As our Café & Bar Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the delivery of food and beverage operations across Civic events, venues, and locations, ensuring every customer enjoys a welcoming, professional, and memorable experience.

Working collaboratively within the Food & Beverage team; you will provide proactive, detail-focused operational support to ensure the seamless execution of day-to-day café and bar services as well as event operations. Your primary objective is to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment while maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will supervise staff in day to day and event operations, manage all aspects of stock control, and ensure café and bar spaces are presented to an exceptional standard. Through your strong organisational skills and commitment to customer service excellence, you will help deliver smooth, high-quality food and beverage experiences that exceed expectations.
