Are you looking to broaden your administrative skills and gain exposure to a fast-paced executive environment?
An opportunity has become available for an Administration Assistant within the Lord Mayor’s Office. This part-time secondment is available until 30 October 2026 and will work a total of 7.5 hours per week. The days worked is flexible.
This role will provide administrative and records management support, including the handling of correspondence, document registration, mail services, archive management and a variety of general administration tasks.
A key focus of the role is the confidential and accurate classification of documents to maintain the integrity of CN’s records management system. You will also support the management of incoming correspondence, customer requests and day-to-day administrative activities to ensure high-quality service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in office administration, strong organisational skills, a customer-focused approach and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative, records management and stakeholder engagement skills while supporting the important work of the Lord Mayor’s Office.

Remuneration: SP6 - $76,005.29 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 35-hour week (pro-rata for 7.5 hours each week)
