Administration Officer (Contracts) - Maternity Relief
The Administration Officer will have the responsibility for providing high quality administrative support to road construction projects funded by the Road Maintenance Council Contracts (RMCC) and be the delegated administrator of the maintenance management system.
Duties will include assisting in the preparation of project plans, contract documentation, asset inspections and technical reports.
Reporting to the Roads Development Manager, our preferred candidate will be values driven and a proactive, adaptable team player with a strong work ethic who can also work independently. Your previous experience will demonstrate an understanding of project and contract management principles as well as comprehensive administration skills across the Microsoft Office suite.
This 12 month fixed-term position is classified as Band 2 Level 2 (starting at $33.60/hr) under Council’s salary system, with employment terms and conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award, working a nine-day fortnight, 35 hours per week.
