Cobar is a rural mining community located in western New South Wales, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city living. Council owns and operates the Cobar Shire & TAFE Library, Great Cobar Museum, Lilliane Brady Village (aged care facility), Children's Services, Youth & Community Centre as well as works depots in Euabalong and Cobar.

ABOUT YOU
- An experienced administrator, a proficient user across the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to quickly and capably to learn new software.
- Organised, motivated, and continuously looking for ways to improve.
- Possession of excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to new situations, show initiative, and positively respond to challenges.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Maturity to deal with sensitive business matters.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Administration Officers provide quality, professional, and efficient administrative support, as well as exceptional customer service for and on behalf of Council.
With multiple roles available across the business, we can offer flexible work hours and days for the right candidate, with an hourly rate ranging from $32.00 - $37.05, dependent on skills and experience, and employment terms and conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
