ABOUT US

Council owns and operates the Cobar Shire & TAFE Library, Great Cobar Heritage Centre, Lilliane Brady Village (aged care facility), Children's Services, Youth & Community Centre as well as works depots in Euabalong and Cobar.

Our core values - Accountability, Communication, Effective Leadership, Integrity and Teamwork (ACE IT) represent who we are as an organisation.  They are the agreed guiding principles for how we carry out our duties and interact with our community.

ABOUT YOU

You will be primarily responsible for the planning, coordination, and oversight of fleet and facilities management functions across Council, including the airport, workshop, building and electrical maintenance, and stores.

Our ideal candidate would be a motivated, naturally innovative, customer-focused individual with a positive attitude and the demonstrated experience negotiating positive outcomes with a diverse range of stakeholders who all have different needs and priorities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Key responsibilities include the development, implementation and ongoing management of asset management systems; continuously improving facilities maintenance management processes across the organisation; and sustaining quality service levels by managing current and future business needs.
