About the role
You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality learn to swim and school swimming lessons, promoting water safety, and creating memorable experiences for our participants. You will create fun, engaging and informative learning experiences for children and adults alike.
We have opportunities available at both Palm Beach Aquatic Centre and Gold Coast Aquatic Centre (Southport), with weekday and weekend shifts in our Learn to Swim program, as well as weekday school swimming sessions running from 9:00am to 2:30pm.
About you
- You have a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification.
- You’re passionate about water safety and know that learning to swim should be an enjoyable, informative, and constructive experience for students.
- You have a flair for working with children and their guardians, and your energy and enthusiasm is contagious.
- You take pride in thinking outside the box to tailor each individual’s needs, to ensure students and guardians gain maximum benefit and enjoyment from your classes.
- You bring a genuine passion for the successful progression of students within the learn to swim program, ensuring our students are instructed at the highest level.
- You are eager to grow and develop as an instructor and be open to feedback.
- Teacher of Infants and Toddlers accreditation is highly desirable.
- Availability to work weekends is essential.
