About the team
Community Facilities Maintenance is a service provider for the City’s Asset managers providing all types of maintenance activities and minor installations when requested.
The Urban Precincts teams provide detailed City Cleaning, Horticultural, and minor maintenance services to Broadwater Parklands, Village Heart, HOTA, and Robina Green Heart to ensure that the public is ready to use the facilities within the precincts.
About the role
In these positions you will form part of a work team providing excellent customer service whilst undertaking your duties and contribute toward creating a positive visitor experience for park clients.
We are seeking reliable people who possess a broad range of practical skills and experiences to maintain and upkeep all areas within the precinct. You will be a friendly, approachable, well presented, and a proactive team player that takes pride in your work.
Broadwater Parklands role - you will be responsible for a range of duties including general cleaning on Saturday and Sunday and assisting with Horticultural duties when required. The roster for this role will be Saturday through to Wednesday.
HOTA role - you will be responsible for a range of duties including general cleaning on Saturday and Sunday then moving to assisting with Horticultural duties when required. The roster for this role will be Wednesday through to Sunday.
We’re looking for people who have:
- C Class Drivers Licence is mandatory, MR Class Drivers Licence is desirable
- General Construction Induction Card is mandatory
- A positive outlook and a can-do attitude towards work
- Ability to work autonomously and pivot priorities based on workload
- Ability to display appropriate communication when interacting with your team and the general public
- Experience in event set up and pack down is desirable but not essential
