In the role of Apprentice Electrician, you will form part of a team maintaining and upgrading electrical systems across the City.
- Work alongside skilled electricians, assisting with electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across the City.
- Gain exposure to a wide range of electrical systems in City buildings, helping to maintain City assets.
- Under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson, assist with installing wiring, outlets, switches, and electrical panels in various settings.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly cleaned, maintained, and stored.
- Learn to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and plans under the guidance of a qualified tradesperson to ensure accurate installations.
- Help with troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, with oversight from a qualified electrician.

- Successful completion of Year 12 (or equivalent)
- Drivers licence (desirable)
Applicants must have full working rights in Australia for the duration of the qualification and be able to work full-time.
