About the team
The Senior Project Manager position sits within the Infrastructure Network Utilities Delivery – Water and Sewer team. The Water and Sewer Delivery team comprises nine Project Managers and two Construction Inspectors responsible for delivering major water and sewer infrastructure projects across the City.
This role is accountable for leading and coordinating multidisciplinary professional teams to successfully deliver complex, high-value projects through multiple procurement streams. The Senior Project Manager will manage major Water and Sewer programs and projects exceeding $15 million, ensuring delivery in accordance with scope, budget, safety, quality, and time objectives.
About the role
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning and delivery of high-value, complex capital works programs and projects, including new works and asset renewals, across Council’s water and sewerage infrastructure.
We’re looking for people who have:
- Bachelor in Engineering and Engineering Science or relevant and equivalent experience and knowledge
- Diploma in Project Management or relevant and equivalent experience and knowledge
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
