About the role
In this role, you will support the design and delivery of high-quality structural solutions across a diverse portfolio of municipal, multi-disciplinary projects. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your technical expertise while gaining hands on experience in real world infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, technical specifications, and supporting documentation
- Assist in the design, assessment, and review of structural infrastructure in line with relevant standards
- Review drawings and ensure compliance with design, safety, quality, and environmental requirements
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and gain construction insight
- Apply problem solving skills and technical judgement to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions
- Provide clear technical advice and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
We’re looking for people who have:
- Bachelor Degree of Engineering or equivalent and relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound understanding of structural engineering principles and relevant standards
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
- Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and develop in a professional engineering environment
