We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Professional Development and Capability team, delivering internal workplace learning programs for one of Australia’s largest local governments. This role plays a key part in shaping leadership capability and workforce development across the organisation.
About the role
You will work closely with leaders, teams and subject matter experts to design and facilitate internal leadership, culture and capability programs that support workforce growth and future capability needs. You will lead a high‑performing team of facilitators, partner with the business to respond to emerging needs, and ensure learning programs are relevant, effective and deliver value.
You will contribute to the delivery of nationally recognised, AITD award‑recognised leadership and capability programs, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
What you'll be doing:
About you
You bring a strong background in leadership and capability development and enjoy working directly with leaders and teams. Your experience may be grounded in human resources, organisational development, behavioural science or neuroscience, and you value evidence‑based, strengths‑focused approaches. Gallup Clifton Strengths accreditation, or experience applying strengths‑based coaching in workplace settings, will be highly regarded.
