About the team

The Infrastructure Project Management Office (IPMO) is a central function supporting the planning and delivery of infrastructure programs across the organisation. The team works collaboratively with program managers, project managers, and specialist business units to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, meet governance requirements, and achieve high-quality outcomes. With a strong focus on performance, transparency, and continuous improvement, the IPMO plays a critical role in enabling successful program delivery and value for the community.

About the role 

You’ll play a key role in identifying practical ways to improve commercial performance, streamline processes, and strengthen accountability across commercial arrangements including the City’s Electrical Panel and Civil Works Panel. You’ll also contribute to the ongoing evolution of commercial practices, helping to better align planning, delivery, and performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor performance, identify risks, and drive value for money outcomes
  • Support consistent and effective commercial management practices
  • Contribute to planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate issue resolution and maintain strong stakeholder collaboration
  • Uphold governance, compliance, and performance accountability
