- Position Brief -Senior Project Manager
About the role
This position manages and delivers a defined program of complex, specialised municipal infrastructure works, which include water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

Initiate and facilitate the delivery of projects for assigned municipal infrastructure by managing projects from conception to concept planning, and 30% design.

Lead project teams to meet multi-discipline planning activities including external design and engineering consultancies as required within specified timeframes.

Lead early tenderer involvement phases for some projects to meet activities in the Branch plan.

Provide high level, specialist technical advice and recommendations to various sections of infrastructure projects within defined programs.

Apply and oversee the provisions of all relevant legislation, regulations, agreements, standards, policies and processes are applied and adhered to in projects.

Provide sound project management advice, options and recommendations to deliver required project outcomes.

Investigate, analyse and problem solve water sewer and stormwater network issues to arrive at fit for purpose solutions.

Manage, motivate and mentor junior project officers and project managers within the Utilities Asset Management and Planning team to assist build competency.
We’re looking for people who have:

Bachelor's Degree of Civil Engineering or the equivalent knowledge and experience.

Unrestricted Class “C” Drivers Licence.

WHS Licence General Construction (White Card).
