About the role
As Coordinator Libraries, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the City's library and customer service network. Leading a team of experienced leaders, you will foster a high-performance culture, support workforce development and ensure the delivery of exceptional services that meet the evolving needs of our community.
Working collaboratively across Libraries, Customer Service, Arts and Culture, you will identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, champion literacy and community-focused initiatives, and use data-driven insights to enhance service delivery and customer experience.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience leading large, diverse teams and developing high-performing leaders.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and influence others.
- Experience managing complex operations across multiple service locations.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and deliver customer-focused outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- A commitment to fostering safe, inclusive and positive workplace cultures.
- A passion for community services and delivering meaningful outcomes for the community.
- A degree in Library and Information Management, Business, or a related field, or substantial equivalent experience in a relevant leadership role.
