About the role
We are looking for a Stormwater Engineer to join our team and contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects within our Capital Works Program.
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality civil infrastructure projects, including roads, footpaths, car parks, stormwater drainage systems, culverts, and related works.
Responsibilities include:
- Support design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, culverts, etc.)
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and design documentation
- Design and assess stormwater and drainage systems in line with standards
- Review engineering drawings for accuracy and compliance
- Conduct site inspections to monitor construction and verify design implementation
- Apply engineering judgement to develop practical and cost-effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, WHS, and environmental requirements
- Provide clear technical advice and maintain accurate engineering documentation
We’re looking for people who have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or related discipline), or equivalent experience and knowledge
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, particularly stormwater and drainage design
- Ability to prepare technical reports, calculations, and design documentation
- Good problem-solving skills and sound engineering judgement
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- A current Class C Driver’s Licence
