About the role
We are seeking three experienced Project Controls Specialist (Program Planner) to join the IPMO team!
Working across a portfolio of projects, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, cost planning and forecasting, monitoring progress & cost, and providing accurate reporting to support successful project delivery. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project schedules are realistic, regularly updated and aligned with delivery objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Establish and manage baseline schedules and monitor project progress.
- Perform project cost planning, forecasting and periodic performance reporting.
- Analyse schedule and cost performance, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions as per change management process.
- Produce S-curves, resource histograms and other project reporting.
- Perform integrated cost and schedule planning tasks to manage project status.
- Maintain accurate project data within Microsoft Project, PMIS and the organisation's project management information systems.
- Work within project teams to improve planning outcomes and reporting.
- Support project management administrations tasks for project management.

We’re looking for people who have:
- Extensive experience in advanced Microsoft Project skills, i.e. project scheduling, forecasting and reporting.
- Good experience in project cost planning, forecasting and performance reporting.
- Knowledge and experience of integrated cost and schedule management for projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Well developed communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence.
