About the role
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing and Communications Officer to join our Marketing and External Communications team. In this role, you will develop and deliver strategic marketing and communications initiatives that promote the City’s services, strengthen community engagement, and contribute directly to the delivery of the Council Plan.

As a key member of the team, you will:
- Deliver strategic marketing and communications campaigns in collaboration with the wider Marketing and External Communications team.
- Ensure communications are planned, effective, integrated, innovative, and deliver value for money.
- Support the resolution of key issues through well-planned marketing and communications strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise the reach and impact of City initiatives.
- Enhance the City’s reputation through clear, consistent, and positive communication.
- Contribute to monitoring and reporting on city-wide campaigns, ensuring continuous improvement and accountability.
- Bachelor's degree Marketing and/or Communication or equivalent knowledge and relevant experience
