About the role
As an Outreach Library Assistant, you will be a key player in delivering library services to our customers across the Gold Coast.
You will be travelling through the Gold Coast in our Library van, so a current “C” class driver licence is essential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- delivering library items and other resources across our network of libraries and Customer Service points
- re-stocking Library Kiosks
- maintaining remote Little Libraries
- processing new and returned library items

We’re looking for people who have:
- possess emotional maturity and resilience, with the ability to make meaningful connections with our diverse customer base
- are proficient with technology, including iPads, and able to quickly learn how to use new software applications
- prioritise safety and follow all WHS directions
- have great customer service skills
- are physically fit and able to load and unload up to 400 crates per day (weighing up to 16kgs each)
- hold a “C” class licence and be confident to drive a Toyota Hi-Ace van
