Male Community Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Male Community Support Worker to assist a 28-year-old gentleman based in Spring Mountain. The ideal candidate will engage him in activities that align with his interests, such as model trains, Lego, and animals, as well as facilitate outings to bowling, mini-golf, movies, and swimming.

The position requires a commitment of 9 - 10 hours per week. There is also the potential for additional shifts based on availability. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and demonstrate a genuine interest in supporting individuals in their community. We are looking for someone who is reliable, adaptable, and enjoys working with individuals to explore their interests.

Shifts:

  • Monday 9am – 2pm
  • Tuesday 9am – 1pm
  • Availability to pick up additional shifts

Requirements:

  • Excellent communicator with proficient English
  • Open Driver’s license and own vehicle with insurance
  • NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate & CPR (or willing to obtain)

Pay Rates:

  • Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm shift - $37.08 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am shift - $41.53 per hour
  • Saturday - $51.92 per hour
  • Sunday - $66.75 per hour
  • Public Holidays - $81.59 per hour
  • Sleepover allowance $80.00 per shift
