Female Disability Support Worker

We are currently seeking a competent, reliable and compassionate support worker to join a team to support a mature aged lady with in-home support in Wynnum.
Key Requirements:
  • Have experience working with people with disability particularly in mental health
  • Keep clear professional boundaries
  • Experience in personal care including stoma care or willing to learn
  • Emotionally aware & resilient
  • Genuine and reliable with respect for the person's individual choices 
  • Assist with daily living and overall health and well-being including (domestic assistance, grocery shopping, cooking, laundry, helping to make phone calls and driving to appointments)

  • Regular shifts available and the potential to pick up additional shifts in nearby areas with other supports, should you be interested.
Shifts:
  • Mon, Tues, Thurs & Friday 10am – 12pm
  • Mon, Tues, Fri, 5-8pm
  • Thurs - 4 – 8pm
  • Wed, Sat, Sun 6-9pm (or later by mutual agreement)
 Pay rates:
  • Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm shift - $38.50 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am shift - $43.12 per hour
  • Saturday - $53.90 per hour
  • Sunday - $69.30 per hour
  • Public Holidays - $84.70 per hour
  • Sleepover allowance $80.00 per shift
Applicant Requirements or willing to obtain:
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Criminal History checks
  • Working with Children card (Blue card)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance 
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’
