Female Disability Support Worker

Location: Redland Bay

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, female Disability Support Worker to join our dynamic and friendly team supporting three ladies who share a home in Redland Bay. Experience is preferred but not necessary. 

Shifts:

  • Tuesdays Sleepover - 2:30pm to 9am
  • Fridays Sleepover - 2:30pm to 9am
  • Additional fill-in shifts when other staff are on leave

The Role

  • Assist with Daily living
  • Provide Personal care
  • Assist with transfers (i.e. from bed to wheelchair / wheelchair to car)
  • Assist with social and community engagement
  • Utilise exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Actively engage in conversation and build relationships
  • Demonstrate passion for inclusion with a loyal approach
  • Be energetic, supportive and caring

Essential Requirements:

  • Right to Work in Australia
  • Open Driver’s License
  • Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Flexibility to pick up additional hours when needed

Staff rates:

  • Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm shift - $38.50 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am shift - $43.12 per hour
  • Saturday - $53.90 per hour
  • Sunday - $69.30 per hour
  • Public Holidays - $84.70 per hour
  • Sleepover allowance $80.00 per shift
