Your new role

We are currently seeking a flexible Care & Support Worker to join our team. In this dynamic and multi-faceted role, you will be working across our community care program based in Braeside and servicing the South Eastern region and surrounding suburbs – focusing in on Kilsyth and Lilydale, assisting our clients in their homes. We are looking for candidates with the following

 

  • CPR & First Aid Certificate – Level 2
  • Current Driver’s License and own reliable car with comprehensive insurance, (suitable for transporting clients)
  • Completed or current studying Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or Home Care

 

No two days will be the same in this fast-paced and dynamic role. In your new role, some of the requirements will include:

 

  • Personal Care: showering, oral care and continence management
  • Medication Assistance: Administering and monitoring medications, assisting with dressings and basic observations
  • Food Preparation: preparing, cooking and serving of meals
  • Community Support: escorting our clients on community outings e.g. shopping trips, excursions, lunches, appointments
  • Transport: escorting our clients to medical and allied health appointments, hospital visits and respite care
  • Domestic Support: cleaning, tidying, changing bedding to ensure a safe, clean and sanitized environment for our client

  • Competitive pay ranging from $38.70 to $43.88 per hour, depending on experience, plus superannuation
  • Part-time basis - 20hrs minimum hours per fortnight
