Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner northern suburb. The College has a vacancy for a Curriculum Support Officer, commencing 11 January, 2023. This is a part-time, term-time, continuing position.
The Curriculum Support Officer works in the administration of curriculum systems and processes that support the School’s strategic vision, our teachers and our students.
This position is a Level 4 ($33.5211 per/hr) term-time position, for 25 hours per week excluding 30 minutes allocated for lunch with the negotiable days and hours.
Essential Competencies and Qualifications
- Have a passion and understanding of curriculum requirements and needs
- Be able to work independently as well as within a team structure
- Be self-motivated to learn new skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Be flexible to adapting and changing demands, with the ability to prioritise
- Possess a strong ability to analyse and solve problems
- Be able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical users
- Utilise experience in achieving efficiency and innovation
- Maintain respect for confidential data
- Experience in TASS and in an educational environment desirable, with experience in administrative roles
- Be knowledgeable in MCA’s suite of education applications (E.g. Moodle, TASS, Office 365, Track One Learning Analytics);
- Possession of a ‘Working with Children’ Card.
