Role:
Multiple casual opportunities have become available for Production Operators to join our production in Dandenong, VIC.
In this role you will be responsible for the support of production and packaging for all related products.
Available Shifts Sunday to Friday:
Multiple positions are available. Day/Afternoon/Night spanning across 24/7 operation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sets up & inspects machinery to ensure efficient start up and smooth operation.
• Competent in operating key machinery including mixers, dividers, Lematics etc.
• Checks and adjust various parts for proper alignment, rotation, dough consistency etc.
• Weighs and adds proper amount of ingredients to mixer at appropriate times.
• Familiar with proper operation of mixing machinery and safety checks.
• Understands scheduling.
• Ensure product quality is always within specification and make adjustments to achieve highest quality within specified parameters.
• Conduct routine line inspections to address potential food safety and quality risks/concerns.
• May be required to assist in the packing area on a similar shift for multiskilling and labour shortages on an irregular basis.
About You:
• Good communication skills.
• Previous Food Manufacturing experience will be highly regarded.
• Level of physical fitness and resilience; able to lift 15 kg.
• Have availability across the week, and be available on short notice
• Punctual, reliable & willing to continue developing.
• Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative as part of a team.
• Ability to work tight timescales and under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
